Fort Worth Batbusters. Inc is a Texas nonprofit corporation that has been approved by the IRS as a "Section 501(c)(3)" public charity. The operations of Batbusters and its teams are 100% dependent on donations from parents, sponsors, and friends. Because Batbusters is a public charity, donors may make donations to Batbusters that are deductible on their tax returns to the extent they are gifts and no consideration is received in return. Batbusters would be pleased to receive any donation in the form of cash, checks, property, and services. Donations checks should be made out to "Fort Worth Batbusters, Inc." Donors cannot claim a tax deduction unless the donor maintains a written record of the contribution in the form of a bank record (e.g., canceled check) or a receipt from the charity showing the name of the charity and the date and amount of the contribution. Batbusters will provide receipts for all contributions that it receives.
